Key fobs not working, alarm error after bike powered off
Verfasst: Mo 20. Jan 2025, 16:55
Both key fobs are dead and do nothing (they flash red, sending some signal).
What has happened?
Update...
.. Doh, how about .... I had loosened the 72V power cable to the alarm and it was not powered!
My bad.
At least in the meantime I have looked this up and it seems that these alarm systems are super-cheap to replace if they go wrong, like $10 worth.
It also looks like there is a theft device enable function in the software. So I will put it down as something to test out (disabling the alarm) when I get connected to the bike.
Meanwhile, more mechanical issues to be sorted straight away, the rear disc seems to be binding up when I span the wheel up as a test. I'll need to sort that out. At least, I hope it is not something else on the back wheel, but the brake disc is not round,
, I think it is rubbing on the caliper.
