Das update komme in zwei Wochen etwa. Einige haben schon eine Vorabversion. In videos usw. Sieht man es auch schon.

We just released FW version 1.9 for you. In this version we have some improvements related to Bluetooth and the on/off feature in the mobile app.
We’ve fixed an issue that can happen during the Bluetooth connection process. It could be that the cache for Bluetooth on your phone needs to be forced to update. If you have an issue with connecting to the scooter, please go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and turn it off and back on again. We can now also read the scooters power mode over Bluetooth (for example if the scooter is hibernating), this will be used in future mobile app release.

Seit der App Version 2.0.4 (aktuell noch Beta) sieht man nun den standort des Rollers.

Today we’re excited to invite you to test a new feature we are working on. In the next app release coming to you soon, through App Center (Android) or Testflight (iOS), you will be able to see the scooter's last known location. We’re still tweaking the reliability of this feature but would love more feedback from the real world.

In this first version you will see the scooters location on a map, as well as a timestamp for when the last location update was from. How often you get updates depends on if the scooter has a main battery (1xhour), is without main battery (1x24hours), or if it’s hibernating - in which case there is no internet connection until scooter is woken up again, therefore no update is possible. For the beta testing phase there are no settings for this feature, i.e you can’t turn off storing the last known location. But we’re working on that too. If you don’t want the location feature, then simply don’t install this beta version for now.

Oh das ist ja cool. Und war meines Wissens auch schon früher geplant. Denke die Programmierung ist wohl schwieriger wie gedacht. Ich habe jetzt auch noch keine Information gefunden was für Speicher und Prozessoren der Roller hat.

Würde ich mal in das Gimmick-Regal stellen, ich wüsste jedenfalls nicht, wofür ich das Feature bräuchte. Viel lieber wäre mir ein Blinkersound, der in der App konfiguriert werden kann. Oder eben endlich das Navi.
