Simon

I have a NIU NGT, before a Honda PCX 150cc.
During winter i use eletric Gloves (https://klan-e.eu/product/glove-excess-pro-2-0/), that I use to connect to the battery 12v by wire.
Next winter I don't know where to connect the cable (black and red cable, plus and minus).
is there an output 12v on the mainboard of the NGT? (the usb is only a 5v)
Thanks for the support

Beispiel Winterhandschuhe: https://www.louis-moto.it/artikel/probi ... nti/201532

Hello Zimon/Simon,
welcome to the electric scooter forum and have fun with your NGT.
In the NIU there is a DCDC converter for light, horn, display etc. which provides a 12V voltage. Unfortunately I don't know how much it is dimmensioned. I would have considered to simply clamp the gloves without knowing the power consumption of gloves and the maximum current of the transducer. In the worst case, light, display and horn fail. In principle, you could still drive the NIU, but that would be highly dangerous and it is not known how long the NIU service needs to procure replacements.
I would mount hand protectors on the mirrors and drive with winter gloves to save energy. At lower temperatures the batteries are more stressed, so I would be happy about every consumer who doesn't suck on the driving batteries.
Example: suitable hand protectors (are screwed to the mirrors): https://www.ebuy7.com/item/568027113933
Example winter gloves: https://www.louis-moto.it/artikel/probi ... nti/201532

Ciao Zimon/Simon,

"and how long the NIU service needs is unknown."
The defective DCDC converter of my N1S was delivered within 3 days of the Whitsun weekend.
But would not it be an elegant solution to use USB warming gloves?

Hallo chrispiac
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00HR4 ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B074V3 ... VAI1&psc=1

Hi chrispiac
thanks for the infos and link, I'll check with my mechanic...
the only option I found is to buy these two products:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00HR4 ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B074V3 ... VAI1&psc=1
the usb output is less than 5V and the "old" battery of the Honda PCX was a 12V... so i need a 12V
PS how can I contact an Admin for a "Bug" in the "New Registration User" at the Forum?
Thanks for all

maybe, next year you don`t need to make mint of electric gloves. We have global warming and the stability of NIU is less than a year.
If this don`t happen.....
Oh sorry my friend. I`m not serious. I make a joke of you.
You are right here and i know you will get serious answers.
