deadropine, what LB GUI version do you use? Try LB GUI v4.0.0.

I used LB GUI v121.20.2300. I think GUI V4 did not work. I will try again. Did it work for you?

Hat denn vielleicht schon jemand probiert die SIM-Karte gegen eine (funktionierende) einheimische zu tauschen? Vielleicht geht dann das OTA?!

Wäre auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert.

deadropine,

Just got USB-RS485 (CH340) adapter. LB GUI 4.00 do not work for me also. Now I use LB GUI v121.20.2300. Controller software version is v121, so the last working version LB GUI will be v121.20.2300.

I have read somewhere in a forum that some Lingbo Controllers cannot be completely programmed with the software since some parameters are not accessible. If this is the case this is a problem. There must be some hidden speed limiting parameter which cannot be seen in the software. Shit! If there would be some way to reset the VCU and reload the software (OTA??). Maybe then some parameters could be changed in the App.

Also,
neue SIM-Karte hab ich rein...bringt gar nichts, ausser daß die App sich nicht mehr mit dem Fahrzeug verbindet (Diode an der VCU blinkt rot)
:(

I just have a question how you connected the Lingbo Controller to your PC. I have used a USB converter and used the RS485 (CH340) communication to connect. As already said the only software version that worked was the version v121.20.2300. Have you tried a USB TTL converter? I have seen that the software version GUI 4.0 has an parameter were the speed limiting can be disabled. Maybe the software version GUI 4.0 works with the TTL communication. Maybe the voltage for TTL has to be 5 V. I only tried 3,3 V. What did you try?

With USB-TTL adapter any version LB GUI can't connect (timeout). With USB-RS485 (and USB-TTL to power 3.3V) I can connect only with LB GUI v121.20.2300 and v121.18.0329.

I dont think that 5V voltage can be safely used, controller MCU use 3.3V power (stm32f030c8, external main supply voltage -0.3V ~ 4.0V, stresses above the absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to the device). For my opinion, "EU" Lingbo controller settings are hard coded to controller MCU. At LB GUI we see and change "fake" settings.
