I'm almost fully decoded the settings export/import file (*.foc). In the hidden part (first 32 bytes) there is interesting number 2275 (offset 0012h), but it can't be changed. After change and reboot it restored back to 2275. So, it can be changed in memory only.

How did you decode the FOC file?

FOC file is a binary image of settings, 3 sets of 32 bytes, with offsets 0000h, 0100h and 0200h. I change settings one by one in LB GUI, download and export, then do binary compare the default file with the current file. All active settings (visible in LB GUI) placed from offsets 0100h and 0200h.

I have seen that Niu has a handheld diagnostic tool which (Niu handheld H1) they connect to the charging port in order to change settings. Can the CAN bus system of the controller be used for programming?

Sodele, meine 5 Cent war heute mal bei meinem Händler. Der meinte er hat keinerlei Zugriff auf die Software zumal das wohl auch rechtlich nicht ganz ohne ist. Er meinte, man sollte mal mit dem Hersteller des Steuergerätes Kontakt aufnehmen also ich für meinen Teil werde wohl mit den 45km/h leben, für die Stadt ist das ja allemal ausreichend. Will be useful to get exported settings for Tromox Mino 45km/h. I think now I have decoded 100% settings in *.foc file, except header (32 bytes with offset 0000h).

Can you tell me which software you used for opening the foc file? Was it a Linux software?
