I have a question about charging.
I topped the battery up and went out yesterday.
I have a long ride due and set the charger on a timer for cheaper electricity at night. But it did not run and charge.
So I have discovered that at 77.6V battery voltage (9 bars showing) the charger will not put charge in. I was worried that it was a bigger issue, so went for a ride, and brought it down to 75.6V and it charges OK again, now.
I suspect this is an issue of the charger, not the battery?
Is it meant to do this, do you know, and is this the bike or the charger not allowing the charge?

Eventuell ist auch der Akku nicht gut balanciert.
Das kommt vor, wenn nie oder sehr selten der Akku vollständig geladen wird. Ich würde den Akku jetzt mal leer fahren und danach wieder komplett aufladen. Das Ganze dann 2 bis 3-mal wiederholen.

I tried turning it on again manually and still did not want to know. Light went green, clicked and then turned green again.
I've charged up overnight starting from 75.6V, and it's been fine, filled it up to 100%. Now reading 83.4V. Ready to go on my trip today.
I'll be looking at this again one day soon, I expect. I have bought this other charger now and will put a plug on it and see what that one does. Seems sensible to have a back-up one way or another, chargers can go wrong.

In my eyes the BRDF031 is one piece of steel, with a polished shiny outer ring and a black coated inner section! I can't see another functionality of the rivets, except for decoration.
Hmm, it seems you are right, my bad. I did not examined them, just put them on to get rid of warped discs. Sorry, next time I will be more thorough.
Only reason for bobbins (besides the misleading guys like me) could be to let them absorb the heat from outer part of disc faster then inner part of disc = help to cool the disc.
No matter what, as one piece it is not floating disc for sure.
But.. I have to repeat it - if they will last some time without warping, then better than original.

I totally agree.
And as I already mentioned, it's absolutely ok for me that they are no real floating discs.
The E-Odin isn't that kind of bike that would require the latest braking technology to push it to its limits.
More important is that you've found something that fits and most likely is better than the poor original equipment.

I posted recently my work on the front suspension modification.
The thread seems to have vanished.
Is there some reason for this, or system error?

Ich hatte es auch gelesen. Aber war das nicht sogar im Thread Stoßdämpfer? Der scheint doch auch nicht mehr da zu sein?
