In main cable pin 1 connected to GND, pin 2 connected to Motor Temp, controller pin 9. So, both pins are grounded. I think that current controller doesn't support Motor Temp sensor.

The charge connector under the seat fell apart for no apparent reason:

Thanks for the pinouts! So, if the charger connector only has connectors for + and - it doesn‘t send any other information (e.g. RS485 data) to the charger? My charger has a single data pin, which is most likely GND.

I think the charger has not any serial communication. I can check the battery connector pinout and we will know what can do that single data pin in the charger connector.
