So, we delivered these

The reason for 45km/h is simple: no need for motorcycle clothing.
In Belgium if you drive a moped you only need a helmet and underwear.
For a motorcycle (which in belgium is anything above 45km/h) you will always need
-A Helmet
-Long trousers
-Boots that cover your ankle
-Jacket
- Gloves
-A motorcycle license or a code 372

Since this will not be used for high speed chases and brussels is a very busy city where even reaching 45km/h is almost never possible the choice was easily made.

Hi, what would a set (4 pieces?) Of the blue police LEDs including electronics and shipping cost? Do the NIUs also have a police siren? Please tell us about the special equipment of the NIU's. Most of us are interested in technology. Or send a few photos of the conversions. Thank you. Lucky.

I'll check that for you. They also have an 113db police siren build in, hidden behind the front panel, I'll see for what I can get permission to post (government contracts are... interesting... that way)!
There is a lockdown again in Belgium so I hope to be able to post about it soon!

Meine Nius sind schwarz mit roten Streifen - ich war es nicht. Allerdings kommen mir die Fahrradpolizisten bekannt vor - dem Vernehmen nach ermahnen die auch mal NIU-Fahrer, die in der Einbahnstraße verkehrt herum auf dem Bürgersteig fahren, also falls der Roller dort vorher mal geparkt wurde, und der Fahrer vielleicht keine Lust hat, nach Feierabend zurück auf die nächste Kopfsteinpflasterstraße zu fahren und einen Kilometer Umweg zu fahren. Klar, das war nur ein Bekannter von mir, dem das passiert ist.

Aber lass mal ein paar Tage warten, vielleicht ist jetzt bald ein weißer NIU günstig in den Kleinanzeigen zu haben.

24. März? Unter Alkohol und Drogen in Berlin also 600 KM von Aachen entfernt? Das würde die Einschußlöcher am N1S erklären… aber da liegt noch so vieles im Nebel…
