Also wenn DU mich anschreiben kannst. Ansonsten melde ich mich wenn ich ein paar mehr Mails geschrieben habe.zock3r1608 hat geschrieben: So 8. Hello! I am from Spain and I am trying to do this solution but I cannot understand one thing. How is it possible that your set up does not have the sepparate charger for the 12V, etc. You are connecting the 84v straight into lilygo and then battery? Whats inside the 3D printed piece between the lily and the battery? All that tape doesnt allow me to see the connectors lolRSchmidt hat geschrieben: Fr 27. Feb 2026, 11:28 I just wanted to post a picture of my charging setup now that my original NIU charger for my EVO has died.
I am using an 84v charger I bought from amazon.de. I have 3D printed a small box for the LilyGo can board and used the plug from the NIU charger which I mounted in the box and then connected the 84v charger, LilyGo CAN board and 12v 2A PSU so I can use original NIU cable. I connect battery, plug in 12v PSU as that runs both CAN board and supplies 12v to battery.
Then I connect an extra smartphone I had lying around to CAN board in Google Chrome browser and when I see info is running then I connect 84v charger and about 2-3 seconds later the battery starts charging. I got an 8A charger as I could not find a 10A that seemed like decent quality, so 2 batteries takes about 4 hours to charge from 30% to 100%. Thats about 30 mins longer than original charger but I am not in a hurry.
Total setup cost 200 EUR, which is a huge saving from the 2,000 EUR a new original charger costs or about 700 EUR for a secondhand charger.
Thanks to zock3er1608 for the Battery Can firmware!

Also, would you be willing to help me with this? I already bought the lilygo, will flash firmware this week, and I still have the original chargers connectors as well. Im happy to donate if you can help me to get this working.
Thanks!
