Today we’re excited to invite you to test a new feature we are working on. In the next app release coming to you soon, through App Center (Android) or Testflight (iOS), you will be able to see the scooter's last known location. We’re still tweaking the reliability of this feature but would love more feedback from the real world.
In this first version you will see the scooters location on a map, as well as a timestamp for when the last location update was from. How often you get updates depends on if the scooter has a main battery (1xhour), is without main battery (1x24hours), or if it’s hibernating - in which case there is no internet connection until scooter is woken up again, therefore no update is possible. For the beta testing phase there are no settings for this feature, i.e you can’t turn off storing the last known location. But we’re working on that too. If you don’t want the location feature, then simply don’t install this beta version for now.
