Baugleiche Fahrzeuge werden mit geringfügigen Modifikationen und anderen Modellbezeichnungen auch von SEAT europaweit verkauft. Besonderes Merkmal sind die einheitlichen Akkupacks für inzwischen vier unterschiedliche Fahrzeuge, die mit einem internen Ladegerät nur mit einem einfachen und genormten Kaltgeräte-Kabel an jeder Steckdose geladen werden können und die trotz ihres Gewichts mit einem integrierten automatisch ausklappendem Fahrgestell mit zwei Rollen und einem ausziehbaren Trolley-Griff dennoch bequem bewegt werden können.<br /> <br /> == Geschichte ==<br /> Das Unternehmen wurde 2011 von Carlos Sotelo zusammen mit seinen Partnern Juan Carlos Pablo und Josep Losantos mit Mitteln aus einem katalanischen Projekt zur Entwicklung eines Elektromotors für lokal produzierte Motorräder gegründet. <br /> <br /> Im Jahr 2012 wurde das erste Elektrofahrzeug, der Scutum S02, auf den Markt gebracht, zunächst nur für Institutionen und Flotten, später auch für Privatpersonen.<br /> <br /> 2014 beteiligten sich Repsol, La Caixa und das Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) an Scutum und steuerten zwei Millionen Euro bei, um künftige Modelle wie den S01, einen Elektroroller mit herausnehmbarer Batterie, der Mitte 2016 auf den Markt kam, für die Produktion zu industrialisieren.<br /> <br /> Im Jahr 2017 wurde das neue Werk in Molins de Rei (Barcelona) eingeweiht.
