[English] What do you think of the E-Max 100 L +

Beitrag von Paulart69 »

Hello to all of you,

I am sorry to write in English but in France we do not have any forum about the E-Max and I do not find that much feedback on the internet
do you believe that the E-Max 100 L + is a good products ? The reviews that I saw on the brand before 2014 are really bad.

I don't want to buy your products that will fall apart the first year, what is good with the E-Max 100 L + is that it's possible to increase the speed to 80kmhs and there are no scooter on the markets that have a sufficient speed at a decent price.

I am waiting for your feedback and advices

Thank you very much

So far I know, E-Max 100 L never reached the shores of Germany. In other European countries you can certainly have more luck. Read the information in this link:

Thank you for your answers
My big question is that is emax is an okay brand? Since it will use the same base of the scooter, will it survive some years ? or could I have many issues ?

Even my opinion, that E-Max is a brand with a good reputation, doesn´t help you, since nobody ´s got experience with their LiXX- batteries. Endurance runners ? Big mess ? Considering that Li batteries are the most expensive replacement parts of a scooter, the purchase of an E-Max 100L is some sort of lottery, unless you find at least 2 or three happy long-term owners.

On the other hand, a scooter with a great LiXX battery, like the Peugeot E-Vivacity, ´s got a bunch of other serious design issues and is definitely limited to 45km/h.

So I´d rather go for a very popular scooter with lots of happy owners and a local service ;)

PS: Bad thing about this is, that the BMW scooter is the only fast one, which meets these requirements.

Yes, I do agree with you. But the BMW is crazy expensive. I can have the E-Max at 4500€ minus 1000€ from the government. So for 3500€ it is okay I believe.
What I can do also is buy a little NIU for the months to come and wait that something great arrive at a decent price which is not the case yet. I can have the new for less than 2000€
It would be awesome to find some people who have it, but apart from the battery I believe nothing change. So if you tell me that it's a great brand (with terrible websites) that should be okay

When you have a good service in France, you can go with the E-Max 100 L+. The firm is in Australia and the production is in China. People in China have a great experience with this scooter and the mechanical technique will not be the problem. The uncertainty are the battery cells but that is a problem which affects each brand.

Personally I would opt for the 120 L. This E-Max is a lot quicker than 45 km/h and you would have much more fun. I ride the VX-2 in a cool version with vmax 75 km/h.

The 120 L is not out yet, apparently, the E-Max 100 L + is like the 120 L but without the certification that make it a 125cc. The dealer use a software to modify it and it goes up to 85 km/h / the version is 72V 60 Ah 4,32 Kwh
