Proud Eagle LM96152 controller config and wiring HELP
Dear EV Controller experts!
I have an ebike which has a 45kmph speed limitation and I try to figure out how to be able to test its full speed.
I had rumors about a simple solution by connecting one simple wire to the GND or +5V could work also.
And the rumor said complete tutorials are on German sites, but now searching on the motor name since many weeks I find no results, probably manufacturer or seller removed all info so I don't want to mention the motor name.
I tried to figure out what controller is used and based on the QSmotor KIt they used first the VOTOL EM-100 or 150 seemed to be the matching controller, but when checking how the controller looks like it was not the same.
Here is the mod drive KIT:
https://www.qsmotor.com/product/mid-drive-motor/
So I searched and searched checking pictures of controller heatsink designs and plug layouts and the only match is this one from Proud Eagle:
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 67308.html
Og course no info about wiring and how to disable speed limit.
On Proud Eagle manufacturer site this controller is missing... only some 1200W and 1800W versions have infeo, but they have a different plug layout not having a separate motor HALL plug only the 3x10 port big one...
This is for example a different PE controller but havin a good documentation:
http://www.proud-eagle.com/product.asp?plt=39&Pone=4
So I cannot make sure that pin25 speed limiter analog input is for the speed control on my version too as my version has an other PLUG too.
There is a configuration SW application called LBMC GUI V3.2.4, which can be donwloaded from PE website for 4kW motors config.
It has a speed limiter config in the fields.
I plan to try to use that maybe it could help.
First I need to figure out the USB interface pins, so at least TTL-serial-USB pins. I highlighted what I think to be the pinout for config on this picture from alibaba....
probably the usb pinout is there according to what highlihted by me and colors are standard
On their pictures it looks like on the sides are the gnd and 5V wires and next to 5V are the RX and TX and I could try them with an FTDI serial adapter and this application called LBMC GUI V3.2.4, it has a speed limiter config in the fields.
I have FTDI adapter I used for arduino programmig, I hope I can connect with this app.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks for your time in advance!

edit: I attach pictures of my controller and wiring, I see lots of wires not connected maybe usb config and limiter aetc is missing it is only for "driving" not to config etc....

Hallo,
the use of Linbo GUI software may not be successfull.
You shoud check, if Your Controller is a MQCON Sabvoton ML-Series Controller like this item:
https://de.aliexpress.com/item/40010494 ... 77922%21sh
If that matches Your type:
You can get the MQCON Sabvoton - software at siaecosys.com:
http://www.siaecosys.com/list/?classid=21&page=2
Software for ML-type is different to Sabvoton SVMC-Software and Lingbo GUI-Software.
I am not sure, about posibility of software-access to (existence of programming port in) Your special contoller model.
Maybe You can test the simple solution: disconnection of Speed Limit wire (Yellow/Black) from controller GND, if the is a wire like this.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried to check the pins and as there are lots of unconnected pins on the cable used in the emotorbike I did not find it yet matching pins 100% sure even for RX TX for programm, even with Proud Eagle other controller pinouts

What is conected by teh cable not aven having speed limit pin or resial cable (only CAN H and L).
I searched on the part number on the controller and what a surprise I found an other motorbike looking 100% like my bike but a much different brand name and seller:
https://www.lexmoto.co.uk/models/ZS1500D-2
This bike is 1500W so controller is max 1500W and my ebaik was sold as a 3700W bike, but based on they have absolutely same controller part number and all other stuff is the same, just the Lexmoto Cypher looks better in colors and does not lie on the specification like M0tr0n...
I assume it is the same 1500W capable bike and for the Lexmoto Cypher controller I found no pinout yet or config software, but it can be derestricted easily by holding throttle and right brake before truning on ignition...
This is my controller "Motor Controller (MTRC003) for Lexmoto Cypher ZS1500D-2":
https://www.ebay.com/itm/383844906579
I have to assemble my motorbike back to try it out... if they forget to remove this throttle/brake comnbination function to de-resctrict and back when re-branding it.

Re: Proud Eagle LM96152 controller config and wiring HELP
Hi,
for this Bike: https://motron-motorcycles.com/de/models/vizion/, the motor is called Bosch-Type 3,7 kW.
That sounds different to the QS-Motor (1,5kW) in Lexmoto Chypher.
If the 3,7kW are real, You need a controller with 60-100 Amperes battery current. Your original one is 60 Amps.
https://de.aliexpress.com/item/10050039 ... obhoMIehqr
This one has 80 Amps and is connected with double number of wires on the 30 pins.

it is that bike:
https://motron-motorcycles.com/de/models/vizion/
and there is QSmotor in it I can send a picture tomorrow, QSmotor written to it clearly from the right side, not Bosch, but also the KIT is the same as I see.
It has this KIT just black painted not red plastic cover:
https://www.qsmotor.com/product/mid-drive-motor/
Thanks for the controller suggestion, that one could fit in place...
The actual controller it has has ZWK072060A part number so it means 72V 60A max rated and searched on that part number lead me to Lexmoto Cypher controller part number, so assume same motor different brand name sold.

Re: Proud Eagle LM96152 controller config and wiring HELP
Hi,
I see, the QS Motor Drive Assembly has design speed 70km/h and max battery current of 60 Amps (and ATP-controller in description).
Your original controller shoud be able to manage this, but don´t do it (limitation).
The replacement with MQCON Sabvoton ML7280 including a programming port for USB (link some posts obove) would be the more secure solution in my view. Housing of ML7280 looks similar. But may You have to modify wiring.

Re: Proud Eagle LM96152 controller config and wiring HELP
Dear Didi,
I made a summary of my investigation, I paste it here, thanks for the help!
I will looking forward for info if I plan to replace controller and make a bigger battery pack for sure!
Picture attached about motor QSmotor label.
It turned out it is a rebranded motor: Lexmoto Cypher
It has a 1500W controller and 2000W QSmotor, not what M0tr0n seays in spec, it is not 3.7kW and not Bosch motor.
Original with the correct specification:
https://www.lexmoto.co.uk/models/ZS1500D-2
Here is a test of the original bike:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSbEGXSSIn4
Motor KIT from QSmotor:
https://www.qsmotor.com/product/mid-drive-motor/
The motor is the 2000W version in it with peak 4600W:
https://www.qsmotor.com/product/2000w-mid-drive-motor/ This method also worked on mine, everything is the same:
https://www.dundeescooters.co.uk/wp-con ... -guide.pdf
They changed only some colors and the balance charge port to M25, here this port is used, having CAN H and CAN L signals to be able to start charging or draining.
So not happy, I cannot charge it with my custom low amps slow charge solar panels
it needs CAN signals to charge and communicate somehow..
https://www.wellnowus.com/m25-215-male- ... g-product/
So I could test de-restricted based on Cypher instructions, went until about 50-55kmph in ECO and 69kmph in POWER mode, but I was out of road so it could go above 70kmph a bit.
