If you change the voltage, your controller name gets also changed.
My controller name in the app was ND711400 due to the settings I made.

But that was the only thing I could remember, I also tried lower voltages, which lead to a overvoltage warning, as the overvoltage setting drops with the voltage settings, so I think you can not raise the voltage setting.

I'll stick with convention for now, then, and charge the battery to 72V before the autolearn.

I'll set line max to 135A and not change anything else, for now.

Installation completed today of the new ND72530 on my bike.

I spaced the heat sink out by the height of two M8 nuts. I did not drill holes, I got the feeling that spacing was enough.

A few little minor gremlins to sort - I couldn't understand why autolearn did not start, it was the kickstand down! And, I also did not understand why EABS/regen did not work but there is a menu where the level has to be set for each speed.

Seems mostly OK and did a test run. Two u=issues
1) There is a much harsher cogging torque now. I used to get this resonance at 18mph/29kph, now it is worse over a wider range of speeds, from 16 to 25mph. I tried to re-run the auto-learn, but it did not seem to want to. Apparently there is some manual way to do it starting with throttle open and using the brake lever? Reason to do it that way (if I can) is to re-run the self-learn after the motor has been warmed up from a fast run.

2) I get a double beep on start up. Maybe this is the 'motor temperature sensor' error? I cannot see, it does not seem to report. I get 'PASS ERROR' in red at start up (windows programme) where normally it says 'SYSTEM OK' in blue.

Any observations would be welcome. I will keep fiddling, see if I can figure it out.

Well, I adjusted all the PID values to try to reduce this torque ripple/cogging, but the values seemed to have no effect at all. I spent an hour trying various combinations, nothing.

And, the start up error, 'bip .. beep', and no 'system OK'. Something is up. No idea what, but I did not realise, is the dash trying to tell me something?

I also noticed that before when I disconnected the battery (to try to clear errors) with the isolator, turning it back on the alarm gave a shriek. But, no more. I turn the isolator on and .... I no longer get deafened by it!

I think I can help. I am still learning/figuring, but I have been focussed on this for days so it is fresh in my mind.

I am using the latest windows PC .exe rather than bluetooth, so, I can't say if that matches your situation.

But when I lost 'gear buttons' it was due to a variable "HighLow" which had to be set to 'Button3L' to restore the original functionality.

Then in the 'function' menu, you have to assign the right 'pins' to the park and the gear functions. I would have to check which pins are assigned on mine, but that might be a starter to get you going?

I also stumbled on another function 'easter egg', but I have been disorganised and have wasted time setting things then having to reset them because i did not keep a record. I suggest writing down your changes in sequence so you can reverse anything you did.

What I stumbled on at one point is that when you put the bike in 'Park' it creates an electromechanical lock of the rear wheel. I don't know if you guys already had this feature, but I fiddled with some settings I can't remember and it stopped doing that again. So, there is something that does it! (Unless it was a bug?!?).

Try the 'HighLow' set to 'Button3L' first. Say if it worked or not.

At first I was confused by mine not learning, but then I realised the side stand has to be up. The brake signal is activated with the side stand and that stops autolearn from commencing.

Wenn Du die Autolearn-Sequenz gestartet hast, musst Du den Gasgriff gezogen halten, erst dann passiert was. Der Gasgriff muss so lange gezogen bleiben bis die Autolearn-Sequenz beendet ist und der Motor wieder stillsteht.

Die Ganganzeige funktioniert erst, wenn Du die Parameter für das Ändern der Gänge und die Display-Ansteuerung richtig programmiert hast. Defaultmäßig passiert da nix.

Ich hänge hier mal zwei Bilder dazu an. Beachte insbesondere Functions:Gear/HighLowSpeed, Display:Data0/Data8/ByteOption.

In der Anwendung 2.8.8 sind die Parameter "-Functions" zwar sichtbar, aber immer auf 0 gesetzt und lassen sich nicht ändern. In der Anwendung 2.2.4 werden die Parameter "+Functions" nicht angezeigt. Wenn ich auf das Pluszeichen klicke, sind die Parameter kurz sichtbar, verschwinden dann aber wieder.
