Welche Gabel passt In die Odin ?

Beitrag von Sylvio »

Hallo

None that I could find.

My son has a Benelli BN125 and I bought some 'nearly new' struts off that, they seem to be about the right size but i will have to shim them out with a sheet of 1.5mm aluminium in the lower clamp.

Then you will need to replace the brake caliper, again I have bought one for the BN125 and a disc is available for the hole pattern and the BN125 caliper size, but it is just one sided. I think it is OK. The BN125 caliper has 3 pistons, one is activated by a divider circuit (on rear circuit) on the original but I was thinking just to double it up to the rear brake.

But the actually bigger issue I felt was trying to get a front hugger to fit. That looks like a future challenge. It was actually that which stopped me going ahead.

I tried changing the fork oil first, and that did have an effect. I have some thinner oil to try, not got around to that. Yes, the ride quality is absolutely terrible compared to other bikes. The awful UK roads show this up. Just today I was bumping my way down a road they have just 'redressed' so it is going to stay that bad for many years to come. We have nothing anywhere near as good as German roads. I think it is flat out a lack of technical skill in the country to actually lay roads.
