One of the worst and a kind of senseless failures: Every ride is dependent of the damned left brake light switch.
Maybe a reason to install a workaround.
Lorenzo, we have a lot of descriptions how to fix all handlebar switches.
To your question: I may have some inofficial documents, but no one mentioned a way to make the bike drive ready aside of the left brake & mode switch procedure. I think, there is no way, maybe due to security reasons...
Sorry, I couldn't find a fix on the forum :/
Unfortunately in my case it wasn't a problem with the switch, which I disassembled and disconnected the wires to try to close and open the contact manually... but with the contact via the faston inside the front of the scooter :/
So I had to disassemble everything... I don't think there was any other solution...
Now I'd like to find a more stable way of connection, but I think it's enough to tighten the faston and put the clamps on properly.
Do you have a reference here on the forum? due to language problems (and google translation so-so), I must have missed it. thanks again as always!
One thing I was thinking of doing is to connect the faston of the left and right switch contacts in parallel with two wires,
so that both the left and right levers can be pressed, with mode button, of course..
The only drawback I can think of would be that when you lower the side stand you can open the underseat by pressing just one lever instead of both, but I would also find it convenient since opening the underseat with the key is too hard and I always use the levers.
can you think of other possible side effects?

Hello Rudi, if I understand well your message (sorry again for english), we can use one contact from Astra (it's a dry contact?) to emulate the switch, if could be a good idea.. if there's only one free contact lack the mode... or maybe, put in parallel the two switch (left and right, as I say to Pfriemler) and then use the free contact from the Astra for the MODE? So we also can change the mode from the alternative server/app?
Sounds good to me...!
I'm not too familiar with module connections,
if someone can make a guide on how to use the output of the Astra module (to connect it to MODE I think you just need two wire taps), I can implement it very easily
