Sorry, bei mir war natürlich der DC DC Spannungswandler zerschossen, nicht der Controller. Danach hatte Fasemann ja auch gefragt.

Unfortunately, they are not available in Europe and Aliexpress is the only option
mine were ordered yesterday, let me know if you were able to establish communication, I'm super curious.

After I soldered the chip, I could not connect like before. @ALDI_Pilot, did you solder anything else except this chip? There are some spots that connect pins 6 and 7 to tx and rx - didn't you put any resitor or shunt there? Now it looks like there is some response from the chip, Rx on my uart flashed, but it cannot be recognized and I end up with timeout or nothung from device message.

Which USB dongle are you using for the connection? Which software?

I used CH340 chip and several pl2303 chips and result was the same.
I used "LBGUI_v120.17.0222" "LBGUI_v121.18.0329" "LBMC GUI v4.0.0" "LB GUI v121.20.2300K3AP for K3AP Controller" "LBMCGuiV3" and also no difference.
I bought logic analyzer to play around with it for a while during winter

In this case, you should to use RS485 serial communication USB dongle. Are you able to try with this one and let me know if it's working?

I'm interesting in this theme. Seems there is NIU proprietary protocol with cyphering on RS485 bus. I do some sniffing but data every time different.
Here xample of packets on NIU RS485 bus:

Did you get any result?) I want to try connect to SWD bus of STM, but 90% it will be locked...
