How cold was the battery at this point? That description sounds like too much voltage sag at high currents, which lets the BMS cut out. That will happen both with a realtively empty battery, but especially when the battery is cold.

Fardriver Controllers have an undervoltage limit and a second value slightly above the undervoltage limit, called low voltage restore, 2V (or more with other settings) before reaching the low voltage restore value the controller starts to reduce power.
The lower the voltage drops the more the
controller reduces the battery power until you have nearly no power left when the voltage drops down to the set low voltage limit.

There is no sudden undervoltage cut off from the controller, you will always recognize the loss of power a few kilometers before.

OK, so the question is would the controller flag the 'motor' symbol on the dash for a voltage pull-down event?

It was my initial assumption that a loose connection from the battery power created an excess resistance that meant the voltage dip was higher than it should be when current was high. That makes sense. I did not see any loose connections, and now I see the 'motor' symbol.

I think a motor symbol means a motor issue? Is there reason that might not be true?

Answer to previous post; the battery was fully warmed up yesterday. It was cold today when I tested again, but did the same thing.

I can't answer your questions, as I have neither an E-Odin nor the dash from the E-Odin.
I can only guess that every error from the controller will show the same error symbol on the dash.
