FWIW, another reason I abandoned the 52V-88V charger was because I wanted to decide if I actually would like this spec, which is more money but allows from 10V to 90V charging, so I could use it for 12V batteries too!

I also just noticed these are now 'Bluetooth', too, maybe that is a nice feature and can watch charging progress?

This charger have no Bluetooth, only wifi. I wrote with Google's ki an esp8266 Code that bring the data to our home wifi Network.
Lowest Current are 3A, it goes lower if the battery are almost full.

There are buyer reviews showing a wifi connection, but there is also one that appears to be showing a blue tooth?

I don't know for sure, just repeating the advert. Whatever it is, better than having to go to the garage in the rain! :)

@ Bob
ok interesing ..... i made a foto of my plug i wonder is that the usual or does the 2.0 come with different ones (google says its called HG-F.B-Z850B custom made / rare ) ? since the link i posted the plug seems to be a different yet it is posted as a official part for the 2.0/3.0 so i'm a little confused ......
those chargers of yours what plug/connectors come with it ? i guess 2 ways to charge it, anderson plug is on the battery as a 2nd option

most chargers eg. on ali express don't even show the plug, so often theres no way to know ,

the easiest (to me) if there would be adapter for the various plugs, but i have not seen any so far, so how did you solve it anyhow getting the right plug ? so the easy part is to get one that supports "LI ION" + 84v , but the hard part seems to get the fitting plug (which for electronic nerds i guess is easily solvable as well)

The plug is the part that you have to work around, if you get another charger.

But those little pins do nothing and are not special. There is no 'communication' with the bike, other than a 'safety earth' contact that stops the motor if it is connected.

I guess, you could argue it is the plug you are paying for, with a 'genuine' charger. Some do come with that connector, I forget what it is called.

But I recommend considering replacing that plug and make your life easier.

I think that plug is terrible and badly placed. Mine has a different plug/socket fitted and they are better, easier and cheaper to buy so I just replace them on my chargers.

But, yes, solving 'the plug' is part of the problem of getting another charger.

I have installed this sort on my chargers;-

viewtopic.php?p=400029&hilit=plug#p400029

The socket, which has a waterproof cap, is installed on one of the side panels and is wired to the bike at the original plug. So, that original plug remains but I wrapped it all up with self-amalgamating tape so it is sealed up. I also installed a fuse into that wiring to that socket, as I don't entirely trust cheap Chinese chargers (even the original one).

It is so easy and reliable to connect and remove. You insert and rotate it, and it locks with a click, then you just press the release lever to withdraw it. No fumbling, no pressing or pulling.

If you want to use the genuine charging port (at the rear, underneath the seat), you can use a conversion cable or use a male 2+6 plug that fits.
But I wouldn't risk more than 15A current (20A should be the nominal limit for this kind of connector, if you trust chinese specs  ).

You can find a lot of them at AliExpress, like here, here or here (just a few examples).

Did I misread earlier, was BMS limit 12A, we settled on?

Could it take more?

20A would be a useful increase. 12A is too little to make a difference.
